Paralympic gold medal winner Jalil Bagheri Jeddi will carry flag for Iran at the opening ceremony of the 2015 IPC Athletics World Championships.

Jalil Bagheri won a gold medal in the Men's shot put in the 2012 Paralympic Games.

IPC Athletics World Championships in Doha will start on Wednesday.

A total of 19 athletes will represent Iran in the prestigious event.

1,300 of the world’s best para-athletes from over 100 countries will be competing at the event and hoping to secure a qualifying spot for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

The events will be held at Qatar Sports Club from 21-31 October.
